FFCCC Gmail POP3 Update
Step 1:
Login to the respective Gmail account and navigate to the
Accounts and Import settings by:
Clicking the settings cog in top right:
Click the “See all settings” button that appears in the
sidebar and then select “Accounts and Import” from the top of
the page:
Once in this view scroll down to the “Check email from
other accounts” section:
It should just show one account which will be the
[account-name]@ffccc.com.au, there may be more depending
on the account. Press the edit info button (not pictured) on the
right or if adding a NEW account, click “Add an email account”.
This will bring up a dialog box:
Input into this dialog box the password provided and
ensure you use the correct POP Server and Port, at time of
writing this is:
POP Server: cp-wc42.per01.ds.network
Port: 995
Ensure that the “Always use a secure connection (SSL)
when retrieving mail” option is ticked. Now press save changes
and verify that the email is working, it will tell you if there is an
error.
